Our Fabrics

We believe in the use of natural, mono-materials. Natural, unblended fibres are renewable, recyclable and biodegradable.

They come with age old, natural qualities such as breathability and moisture absorption. They feel good on your skin and they age with signs of usage that capture memories and build affection over time.

Less than 3% of our fabrics are blended with man made fibres and by the end of Mar-2026, we'll be limiting the use of synthetics to secondary yarns for stretch and reinforcement purposes ONLY.

Egyptian cotton (Giza cotton)

In the quiet fields along the Nile, something rare grows—long-staple Egyptian cotton. Grown slowly, with care, the result is a fiber that’s naturally longer, smoother, and stronger.

We choose it for one reason: it lasts! Egyptian cotton fabrics are breathable, soft against the skin, and resistant to wear. No unnecessary blends. No shortcuts. Just pure quality that feels better and ages beautifully.

Linen (European Flax)

Woven from flax grown in the cool climates of Europe, our linen fabric is of quiet strength and effortless elegance.

Naturally breathable, lightweight, and durable, it softens with every wear—aging beautifully over time. Made with minimal water and no waste, it’s as gentle on the planet as it is on your skin.

Tencel™ Lyocell

Lyocell is a regenerated cellulose fiber made from the pulp of wood chips. The making of lyocell starts from harvesting wood, mostly from eucalyptus trees due to their fast growth, but it can also derive from oak, birch, spruce, pine, and beech.

The wood is broken down into chips and dissolved by an organic solvent called amine oxide to create a soggy pulp, the mixture is then processed through spinnerets to create fibres that in turn are spun into yarns.

With a silky, wet hand feel and lustrous sheen, the fibre lends a softness, drapability and moisture absorbency.

Our Trims & Accessories

Fabrics play a crucial role in the overall quality of a garment. Equally important are the selection of high-quality trims and accessories.

Together, these elements contribute to the creation of a garment which enhances the garment's aesthetic appeal and longevity.

Inter-Lining

Used in shirt making and trousers, inter-lining is used to add structure and shape to key areas like the collar, cuffs, and placket.

It’s a thin layer of material fused at a temperature of 165°C between the outer fabric layers to ensure these parts hold their form over time.

A well-chosen interlining gives the shirt a clean, sharp appearance without compromising on comfort or flexibility—essential for a refined, long-lasting fit.

Our lining of choice is Freudenberg - The best in the business.

Buttons

Our heat resistant buttons offer a natural luster and weight that others simply can’t replicate.

Cool to the touch and remarkably durable, they resist cracking and wear over time. Their understated sheen adds a quiet elegance—making them our refined choice for high-quality shirts and trousers.

Sewing Thread

In garment making, strength and durability lies in the details. 3-ply sewing threads—made by twisting three individual strands together—offer superior durability, resistance to breakage, and cleaner sewing.

They hold seams firmly through repeated wear and washing, ensuring your shirt retains its shape and finish over time. For garments built to last, 3-ply is the gold standard.

We use OEKO-TEX® Certified 3ply threads by COATS.
