Sourcing responsibly
We start with the fibre.
Better clothes begin with better materials. We choose natural fibres from growers and mills we know by name — grown and processed with care for the land, the animals, and the people who make them.
Extra long Staple
Egyptian Cotton
Grown in the fertile Nile Delta, Egyptian cotton is prized for its unusually long fibres. Longer staples spin into a finer, stronger yarn that resists pilling, softens with every wash, and holds colour far longer than ordinary cotton.
European Flax
European Linen
Woven from flax grown across the cool, damp fields of Western Europe. Naturally breathable and quick to release moisture, linen keeps you cool in warm weather, grows softer over years of wear, and is fully biodegradable at the end of its life.
Wood pulp
Tencel Lyocell
A silky fibre made from sustainably harvested wood pulp in a closed-loop process that recycles its own solvent and water. The result drapes beautifully, wicks moisture, and feels cool and smooth against the skin.
Building Responsibly
Most brands hand over production to whoever bids lowest. We took the harder road: our own factory, and a single fabric house we trust completely. Owning the making is the only way to answer for it.

The UBH Factory
Every United by Hope garment is cut and sewn in our own factory — not outsourced, not subcontracted. Owning production means we set the standards for fair wages, safe conditions, and craft, and we stand behind every stitch that leaves the floor.
Our fabric
Tessitura Monti
Our shirting is woven by Tessitura Monti, the Italian house that has set the standard for shirting fabric since 1911. The house brought that expertise to Kolhapur, Maharashtra with the most advanced European looms.
